Update on Post-Assessment Checklist

Hi Reader,

Thank you for all your responses to my earlier email about the post-assessment checklist :)
I'm sorry I wasn't able to respond to each and every one of you, but rest assured that I read your replies!

I'm tidying up the checklist and including more detailed instructions so that your child can use it effectively. It'll likely arrive in your inbox early next week (latest Tuesday evening, hopefully).
It'll come with a fillable worksheet so that your child can note down his/her reflections to guide future revision.
And yes, it's going to be completely FOC because I appreciate you being here.

As mentioned, I'll be sharing about trusted fellow educators in other subjects, as some of you asked us for tutor recommendations.

I previously shared about my ex-colleague Teacher Cheryl's Unseen Poetry June holiday programme for Lower Secondary students, happening in the first and last week of June.

Now if your child takes Principles of Accounts (POA), you might want to check out the Sec 3-5 June POA Crash Courses (starting from 2 June, Monday) by Caleb, founder of Master Principles of Accounts.

He's the co-author of the Master Principles of Accounts Study Guide, which you might have seen in Popular bookstores:

Caleb's book has been bought by more than 14,000 students and parents, and now your teen has the chance to learn with him live!

The POA crash courses are great for students who:

  • Failed or just passed the WA2
  • Need to revisit Sec 3 concepts for the upcoming N/O level exams.

Your teen will learn topics like Financial Statements, Non-Current Assets, and Impairment in a clear, logical manner that minimises the need to memorise.

What's more, all sessions will be recorded and available for your child to use for their SA2/O level revision until 31 Oct 2025.

🥳 As you're a cherished part of our community, you're eligible for 10% OFF the POA crash course fees!! Simply use the code LM10 🥳

Check out the dates and reserve your seat below:

🔗 Sec 4/5 Crash Course: https://masterpoa.com/sec4-lm

(Just so you know, Caleb kindly offered us a small referral fee if you decide his June crash course is a good fit for your child. This doesn't add anything to your cost; you still get that sweet 10% off! I'd be recommending the crash courses even without it because I've seen the dedication that Caleb puts in behind the scenes to help so many students get fantastic results in POA.)

If you have any questions for Caleb, just hit the "Got questions?" button on the above pages to get help from his team.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

P.S. Tomorrow, I'll be sharing one more lobang from our long-time partner, Kainetik Math. You'll be getting a VERY ATTRACTIVE discount on their tried-and-tested Math programmes, so keep a lookout for it if you're thinking about getting Math support for your teen to prep for the SA2/O levels!

Hi Reader, Well done to all our students for completing the end-of-year exams! Now that the exam scripts are back and the school holidays have begun, the question we often hear is, “We’re not sure what to do next. How do we actually improve from here?” As a teacher and a mother of a teen, I know this feeling well. Simply “studying harder” isn’t a plan. The breakthrough comes from understanding what to improve and how. The first step is reflection. To help you with this, we’ve created a set of...

Hi Reader, And just like that, we’re heading into August! Hope you're doing well and that the post-WA checklist I shared a while back helped you and your teen. I’m popping into your inbox with a quick but important update on our programmes. First, a huge thank you for your fantastic support! Our small group online coaching is now closed for the year, and we’re so excited to be working with such a dedicated cohort. This leads to my next update: we will also be closing registration for all our...

Hi Reader Hope you and your family are doing well! A little while ago, I promised to share the Post-WA/Exam Review Checklists, and today I'm excited to share them with you today! Sorry it took me a little longer...I wanted to make sure that we capture the most important points that we coach our students to do during our programmes, so that your teen can benefit. We've put together checklists for Secondary 1 to 5 History, Geography, and Social Studies. Do note that the checklists are based on...
